Obituary

EMMONS, Blanche Mary (nee Crawley) – Peacefully on Friday March 1, 2019 at Hillsdale Estates in her 99th year. Blanche is predeceased by her beloved husband Lawrence Cecil Emmons (2006). Much loved mother of Brenda and her husband Roger Linton and the late Marilyn Emmons-Sandbach (1990). Proud grandmother of Derek (Maggie), Stewart, Jevon and Elisha and great-grandmother of James, Daniel, Kamil, Chaz, Chella, Skyler, Blake and Grace. Dear sister of Marlene, and is predeceased by four sisters and two brothers. Family and friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Monday March 4th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Prayers at 2:30pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday March 5th at 10am at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church (Simcoe & Adelaide). Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by Blanche’s family.

Growing up I had good memories of Auntie Blanche. She was always smiling. Never said anything bad about anybody. I am going to miss her. My sympathy goes to her daughter Brenda and family. From cousin, Linda and family
