Obituary for Clara Lucier (Vaillancourt)

LUCIER, Clara (nee-Vaillancourt) – Peacefully on Sunday November 25, 2018 at Sunnycrest Nursing Home, Whitby in her 95th year.
Clara, beloved wife of the late Adrian “Bud” Hill (1964) and the late Orval Lucier (1993).
Much loved mother of Kathleen Kalyta and her husband Terry of Bobcaygeon, Paul Hill and his wife Cheryl of Trenton, Louise MacDonald and her husband Garry of Oshawa, the late Diane Killingbeck and the late Sylvia Ann Hill. Predeceased by her siblings Nelson Vaillancourt, Yvonne Cory and Raymond Vaillancourt. Much loved very special aunt of Linda Bazowski. Lovingly remembered by her eleven grandchildren, and her numerous great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all her family and dear friends. Clara was a long-time member of Holy Cross CWL, Unifor and was a Bomb Girl in World War II. Clara gave a lifetime of volunteering her time to numerous organizations. A funeral mass will be held on Friday November 30th at 10:30 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church (Simcoe and Olive Streets). Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby. Memorial donations to the Lung Association or the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
