TOWNSEND, Ruth Cameron (nee Sawers) –
Peacefully on Thursday March 14, 2019 at Fairview Lodge, Whitby in her 105th year.
Ruth, beloved wife of the late Dr. Murray Pardo Townsend (1966).
Much loved mother of Richard Townsend (Sharon), Leslie Joynt (Peter), Mary Clark (Graham) and the late Ted Townsend (2013). Proud “Grandma Ruth” to grandchildren Jennifer (Dave), Craig (Claire), Sarah (Eli), Colin (Laura), Jessica (Fred), Lisa (Myles), Cameron (Saei), David (Allison), and great grandchildren Max, Grace, Fiona, Nolan, Lisle, James, Lauren, Avery, Sloan, Luca, Duncan, Morgan, Dylan and Ewan. Ruth was predeceased by her sisters Edith and Beth. Grandma Ruth will be fondly remembered. She was the glue that bonded our family together.
