Pat died at Fairview Lodge; kept comfortable by the caring staff at Heritage Harbour. Pat was born to Maud and Neil Brown in Wembley, England. Pre-deceased by her husband, Jack whom she had met at a dance in England during WW 2. They shared their lives for almost forty years. Adored Mother of Catherine (Ken) Ogilvie, Diane (Bill) Baughn and Neil Anthony. Pat will be remembered as a thoughtful, caring aunt to her niece Sandra Cornish (Brad, Dylan) and nephews Glynn Anthony (deceased), Philip Cooper(Nancy, Ryan), Brad Cooper (Liz, Tyler (Emily) and Brittany, Gregg and Roger Cooper (Karin). Will also be lovingly remembered by cousin Betty Walter.

Pat had many friends and her friendship with Betty Gower lasted for more than 70 years. Her dear friend Emma Robinson was Pat’s travelling companion on many memorable vacations. Pat was a war bride, arriving in Canada in October 1946.Loved to sew, knit, crochet, needle point, embroider and some of us are fortunate to have one of her creations. Pat loved to get her hair “done” and was always beautifully dressed and coifed, she loved music and had records of various artists, her love of dancing has resulted in her much loved family as that is how she met Jack. Many thanks to the caring staff at Fairview Lodge (Heritage Harbour) you all have a lot of compassion and patience. Mum, you will be missed so much by so many.Visitation to be held at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St E, Oshawa on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 10-11am. Funeral to be held in the Chapel at 11am. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa.
