We are all so sad to hear this news. My children, now adults have fond memories of both Joe and Madeline. They were the greatest babysitters, and we lived beside Andy and his wife. Such a wonderful family. Our hearts are with all of you and heaven has a new angel looking over you.

Dear Madeleine and family, our sincerest condolences on the passing of Joe. He was such a wonderful and caring person and always so thoughtful clipping out articles about Holland for my parents. They always loved when he did that.

Love Nancy Kloek and Natasha. Xoxo

My deepest sympathy to the entire Lee family.... Joe was always a pleasure to talk with and his jokes always had me splitting a gut.... my fondest memory of Joe was being a "boat taxi Dad"..... when Brenda and I (a few other friends) were partying across the lake Joe got in his boat and kindly picked us crazy chicks up roughly at 2 o'clock in the morning to make sure that we got back to the cottage safe and sound.... This is a huge loss for your entire family but hopefully you will all take comfort in knowing that as far as guardian angels goes; you will have the very best watching over you now.... Love and Thoughts, Darlene, Colin and Justine Gibson xoxoxo ☺☻☻

Dear Kevin & Family,
Our prayers and thoughts are with you. We remember the times at the cottage at the parties in the evenings. Your mom & dad were right there in their lawn chairs enjoying the evening and all the antics! We so enjoyed talking with them. So approachable and down to earth. Your dad told the best jokes & stories. He will be fondly remembered by the us.
