Chris, Mitchell and Loretta and Families-----I am sorry I could not be there for you. The weather made walking a bit risky for me and I did not want to fall. My sympathy and love to you all. Aunt Helen

A loss of a great man for sure and a man who had such an influence on my life. My father and Matt were such close friends and I being my dads sidekick spent a lot of time with him. He taught me how to fish, many fishing trips I went on in May, although he had much gear he certainly did not catch anymore fish. He taught me how to drive a boat.
I think I actually won that fishing derby one year.
Most important he taught me how to go visit the next cottage in the morning, make small talk, slip into the bathroom , do your business and then just leave the cottage for the next poor soul to enter the bathroom, now that is just too funny. That was Matt, a man of loud laughter.
I will never forget my career starting in GM North Plant at the age of 18, he was always there to guide me and make sure I was ok. He was great mentor and friend.
I will always maintain such great memories, I am sorry for your loss.
